I sogni sanno aspettare
Mi chiamo Claudia e ho 65 anni e per molto tempo ho dedicato la via agli altri. Giovanissima mi sono trasferita a Novara, sola a 600 chilometri dalla mia famiglia e con due bambini da crescere.
Così ho chiuso a chiave nel famoso cassetto i miei sogni. Loro però hanno aspettato.
Infatti qualche anno fa ho riaperto quel cassetto e così ho ripreso la mia vita in mano.Ho studiato e mi sono diplomata come educatrice cinofila e adesso è il lavoro che svolgo con tanta passione, tanto che i miei nipoti Bianca e Giulio mi dicono: nonna, anche io da grande voglio fare il maestro per i cani.
Capisco allora il senso di ogni sacrificio passato.
Non è mai troppo tardi per rinascere e realizzare se stessi.

Dreams know how to wait.
My name is Claudia, I am 65 years old, and for a long time I dedicated my life to others. When I was very young, I moved to Novara—all alone, 600 kilometers away from my family, and with two children to raise. So, I locked my dreams away in a drawer. But they waited for me.
In fact, a few years ago, I opened that drawer back up and took my life into my own hands again. I studied and certified as a dog trainer, and today it is the job I do with so much passion. So much so that my grandchildren, Bianca and Giulio, tell me: “Grandma, when I grow up I want to be a dog teacher too.”
That’s when I truly understand the meaning of every sacrifice I made in the past.
It is never too late to start over and find fulfillment.
